UP Elections 2022: BJP has formally announced an alliance for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. BJP President JP Nadda said that NDA along with Apna Dal and Nishad Party will contest 403 seats in UP. In the past, there was a detailed discussion with both the allies. However, he did not announce which party would contest on how many seats.

Nadda said that there has also been a discussion on who will contest from where. PM Modi has moved forward with Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas and has taken this forward in Uttar Pradesh as well. The double engine government has worked in Uttar Pradesh.
On the other hand, Union Minister and Apna Dal President Anupriya Patel, who was present in the press conference, said that NDA’s alliance is a better cocktail of development and social justice. PM Modi has solved the long pending problem of backwards.
UP CM in BJP meeting Yogi Adityanath, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad, Apna Dal President Anupriya Patel, UP BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma were present.
The main opposition Samajwadi Party has also made alliances with smaller parties. RLD and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party are also included in this alliance.
