As the assembly elections in Goa are approaching, the political battle has intensified. In fact, TMC has approached the Governor of Goa and demanded an inquiry into the allegations of corruption against BJP leaders along with the resignation of CM Pramod Sawant. TMC MP in Panaji Prof Saugata Roy said, “We have submitted two memorandums to the Governor of Goa. One is about the corruption allegations against the CM by former Goa Governor Satya Pal Malik and the other is about the death of Siddhi Naik. “

In fact, Satya Pal Malik, the former Governor of Goa and currently serving as the Governor of Meghalaya, believes that there is a lot of corruption in Goa, Prime Minister Narendra Modi should pay attention to it. Satyapal Malik said, “I was removed after exposing corruption in Goa. While those involved in corruption told the Prime Minister that there was no such thing.” He said that, ‘The BJP government in Goa could not deal with Kovid properly and I stand by my statement. He said there was corruption in whatever was done in Goa. I was sacked because of the corruption allegations leveled against the Goa government. I am a Lohiawadi, I have spent time with Charan Singh. I cannot tolerate corruption.
Demand for judicial inquiry into allegations of corruption
While targeting the BJP government in Goa, TMC’s Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien said, “The BJP-appointed governor has made an explosive statement that the Goa government and the Chief Minister of Goa. Be it road or Kovid run corrupt government in every field. Trinamool demands resignation of CM in next 72 hours and judicial inquiry into all corruption allegations with a retired SC judge.”
