In Bharuch district of Gujarat, a 19-year-old youth has been  beaten to death by his neighbor for allegedly raping his daughter. While giving this information on Sunday, the police said that on Friday evening in Nava Borbhata village of Ankleshwar, the father of a five-year-old girl has beaten the victim to death with a thick stick.

Superintendent of Police Chirag Patel said the beaten accused fainted by the beating and was rushed to the civil hospital in Bharuch where he died late on Friday night. Patel said that on Friday, the girl came out of the toilet screaming and soon after that the 19-year-old youth also has been seen by girl’s mother coming out of the same toilet. The mother then pulled up the youth to the girl’s father.

The police officer said, “The girl’s father, who became upset and angry with the alleged crime, has beaten the accused with thick sticks and then after the accused died in the hospital.” A case of murder has been registered against the girl’s father and he is arrested on Saturday.

According to Patel, before the death of the accused young man on Friday late night, the girl’s father had filed a rape case against him. Police is investigating the case.
