Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and MLA Rakhi Bidlan, who went to meet the family of Hathras Gangrape victim on Monday, were thrown black ink by a man. The incident took place outside the victim’s village. It is known that the name of the accused is Deepak Sharma, who is associated with a Hindutva organization.
In the footage of the incident that has come to light, it can be seen that AAP MP and MLA are talking to the media outside the village, meanwhile a person wearing a black shirt comes and throws black ink on the MP and MLA. The accused also chanted slogans after throwing ink. Note that Sanjay Singh and Rakhi Bidlan arrived with a delegation of 5 people to meet the victim’s family.
After keeping the village of Hathras victim under police siege for several days and banning the media, the police have opened the roads here since Saturday. Since then, many parties and organizations have met the victim’s family. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were the first to arrive here from Congress.
Delegations from the Center of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sabha (AIKS), Akhil Bharatiya Krishi Mazdoor Sangh (AIAWU) and Akhil Bharatiya Loktantrik Mahila Sangh (AIDWA) arrived here on Sunday. Told the victim family to stand with them in battle of justice.
However, in this case, the police are also taking action against many. Noida police had last week registered a case against Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi for trying to go to Hathras under the pendemic Act. About 500 Congress workers have been booked for rioting in Hathras. In addition, a case has been registered on Monday against about 400 party workers, including Bhim Army chief Chandrasekhar Azad, for causing a commotion and violating the injunction. At first, he was not allowed to meet the relatives of the victim, but after much commotion and lathi charge, he was allowed to meet along with ten supporters including himself.
