PM Modi G7 Speech: PM Modi virtually attended the G-7 summit, gave the mantra of ‘One Earth One Health’

New Delhi: On the invitation of the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday participated in the G-7 summit via video conferencing. During this, PM Modi gave the mantra of ‘One Earth One Health’. German Chancellor Angela Merkel praised PM Modi during this and gave his support to his idea.

Sources said that during the meeting, French President Emmanuel Macron demanded exemption in the supply of raw materials of vaccine to other countries including India. He demanded the removal of the ban on raw materials and said that countries making vaccines should get raw materials for this.

Let us tell you that this time apart from India, Republic of Korea and South Africa have also been invited as guest countries. The G-7 countries include the US, France, Canada, Britain, Germany, Japan and Italy. All these member countries host the annual summit in turn.

US President Biden and German Chancellor meet

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Joe Biden met on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Britain. Stefan Seibert, a spokesman for Merkel, tweeted pictures of the two leaders sitting at a table in Corbys Bay. The Chancellor met with President Biden of the United States of America at noon on the second day of the G7 summit.

However, the spokesperson did not give any information about the discussion between the two leaders. Merkel is expected to visit the US next month, where she will meet Biden in Washington. Biden had invited Merkel to the White House earlier this week.
