The protest of farmers against the agricultural laws of the Center continues on Saturday. A meeting is to be held today between the government and farmers’ organizations to end the impasse on agricultural laws. Prior to the discussion with the farmers’ organizations, an important meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s residence on Farmers Protest, sources gave this information. According to sources, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal are present in this meeting.

This meeting is being held at a time when the government is going to negotiate with the farmers’ organizations this afternoon. The government’s attempt is to end the deadlock over agricultural laws. In the last meeting with the farmers, the government had indicated softening.

According to sources, the government is ready to accept some demands of farmers. Also, if required, there may be some amendments in the agricultural laws.
