Navratri 2021: Shardiya Navratri, the holy festival of worship of Goddess Durga, has started from today. Navratri is celebrated with pomp across the country. PM Modi posted a picture on Twitter performing aarti of Maa Durga and wrote, “Happy Navratri to all. The coming days are going to dedicate themselves to the worship of Jagat Janani Maa. May Navratri bring strength, good health and prosperity in everyone’s life.
In another tweet, PM Modi has also shared a video of prayer to Maa Shailputri and wrote, “It is the first day of Navratri and we pray to Maa Shailputri. Here is a hymn dedicated to him.
Different forms of Maa Durga are worshiped for nine days.

15 Dussehra will be celebrated on October
Navratri will start from today and will continue till October 14. This year Navratri is falling for eight days due to Tritiya and Chaturthi Tithi falling together. The festival of Dussehra i.e. Vijayadashami will be celebrated on 15 October.
