Omicron infection in vaccinated people will increase immunity against Delta, WHO also told correct

Omicron: The World Health Organization (WHO) has also justified this research that in people who have been fully vaccinated, omicron infection of the corona virus increases immunity against delta. World Health Organization (WHO) Chief Scientist Soumya Swaminathan tweeted, “Omicron infection may increase immunity against the delta variant, but be vaccinated before that”.

He said, “If you are not vaccinated, then this variant will not generate immunity against other variants. As is being suggested, infection is not a substitute for vaccination.”

New research from South Africa suggests that Omicron infection may boost immunity against an earlier delta strain of COVID-19. The study found that people who were infected with Omicron, especially those who had been vaccinated, had increased immunity to Delta.

Researchers believe that Omicron may actually displace the delta variant, thereby reducing the severity of corona cases and potentially making the virus less disruptive to individuals and society. The study also suggests that vaccination helps with the Omicron response.

8,891 cases of Omicron in the country

This study has come at a time when the world is battling the Omicron variant of Kovid-19. According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday, 682 new cases of Omicron have been registered in India, taking the total number of Omicrons in 29 states and union territories to 8,891.

Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 1,860 cases of Omicron. According to the health bulletin of Maharashtra, tomorrow omicron 122 new cases were reported. A total of 959 patients infected with high transmissible variants have already been cured in the state.

  1. First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which
I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and
clear your head before writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind
in getting my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted
just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips?

    Cheers!
