NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede’s espionage case begins, know what Mumbai Police said

Mumbai Police has started investigation into the alleged espionage case of NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede. The orders for this inquiry were given after the complaint of Wankhede. Sources said that both the men seen in the CCTV footage are working at Oshiwara police station and both are posted in the detention department. One of these two policemen is named Vinod Mane.

As soon as their photos came in the media, both of them were questioned by their senior officers. He was asked where he had been and where this photo was taken. The constable told his superior that he did not remember when the photo was from and why they had gone there.

Information has been received from sources, the constable told that the police often go here and there to meet and talk to people in their judgment. It doesn’t mean that someone is spying on anyone. He said that both of those juriddictions were not asked to spy on anyone. However, in this case, an officer of the rank of Additional Commissioner of Police has been asked to investigate and submit a report.

What did Sameer Wankhede allege
Sameer Wankhede has filed a complaint with Mumbai Police alleging that some policemen here are ‘illegally chasing’ him and his officers. He has claimed that for the past few days some of his men in plain clothes have been allegedly doing unauthorized ‘monitoring’. Wankhede and his team are in the news after busting a rave party aboard a luxury cruise ship.
