A new twist has come in the case of the murder of a girl student who was going out of college in Ballabhgarh on Monday. The family alleges that Tausif, accused of murder, was forcibly trying to convert the religion of the girl. After failing to do so, he first attempted to kidnap the girl and failed then finally shoot the girl.
The case of the Nikita murder case is going on. Angry relatives and protesters blocked the national highway at Ballabgarh. The family members alleged that the accused wanted to forcibly convert the girl and failed then killed her.
Angry family members have now sat on a dharna (road block) and are demanding action. The family members and relatives of the student also impose road jam on Tuesday. They allege that the accused youth was pressurizing student Nikita to convert her religion. According to the information, the police have arrested both the accused Tausif and Rehan. Rehan is arrested by police from Noah in Haryana.
Hakim Singh, a relative of the student, said, ‘He was repeatedly pressurizing the girl to become a Muslim. He had committed the crime three years ago, but then we had to settle the matter with the Panchayat verdict. Now the boy used to call the girl again and tell that we will get married as Muslims. When the girl refused, an attempt was made to abduct her. Failed to kidnap, shot her dead. Our demand from the administration is that the SIT should be constituted and the matter should be investigated and should be heard in the fast track court.
Nikita, a student of Agarwal College, located at Milk Plant Road in Ballabhgarh City Police Station area, was being tried to be kidnapped by two youths in a car on Monday. When the attempt failed, the accused shot her and killed the student. After the murder, the accused fled in a car and escaped. The family had filed a complaint alleging the murder committed by a young man named Tausif.
According to the family, the accused also had kidnapped their daughter on 2 August 2018. They had that time also registered a case in this matter. But for fear of social disgrace , they had reached a compromise in this matter. The family alleges that at last the culprit youth now took their daughter’s life. The accused hails from Rojka Meo village of Mewat.
