JP Nadda said, “In the last four and a half years, Goa BJP has made a big leap from 2017 to 2021 when it comes to performance. I am satisfied that structurally, it has become a force that is difficult to defeat. Our MLAs are optimistic and confident.”
‘Goa number one in terms of growth in per capita income’
The BJP national president praised the state’s Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and said, “According to the NITI Aayog report, Goa is at number one in terms of increase in per capita income. Goa is at number three in the Human Index. Goa also rose from seventh to fourth place in economic activity, which is a clear sign of development under Pramod Sawant’s rule.
What did Nadda say about the floods?
JP Nadda said, “Here I have met with all sections of the society. The people of Goa have suffered a lot due to the tragedy caused by the floods. I had a detailed discussion with Pramod Sawant on the flood rescue operation I pay homage to those who have lost their lives due to floods.
Earlier, he offered prayers at Lord Mangesh temple in Panaji on Sunday. Nadda was accompanied by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, state BJP president Sadanand Shet Tanavade and Art and Culture Minister Govind Gowde at the shrine, which is located in Mangeshi village, about 20 km from state capital Panaji.
