Monsoon in Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in the capital Delhi even today. It will rain intermittently in the city today. Delhi received heavy rains in the last nearly a week, bringing down the temperature. The rains led to waterlogging on roads and disrupted traffic. Minimum temperature expected to be 25 degree Celsius

The Meteorological Department said that the sky will be cloudy in general on Saturday and there may be light rain. The maximum temperature is likely to be 32 °C and the minimum temperature is 25 °C.

IMD has forecast moderate rain with lightning in Delhi and adjoining areas. There may be rain in Delhi, Faridabad, Vallabhgarh, Mahendragarh, Narnaul, Kosli, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Nuh, Sohna and other places.

Yamuna’s water level nearing danger mark

The Delhi government has warned that the water level of Yamuna river has reached near the danger mark. The Irrigation and Flood Control Department said it has deployed boats in various areas of the national capital and kept 21 others ready for emergency. The department said that not only because of the torrential rains in Delhi, but also because Haryana has started releasing more water into the river from Hathnikund barrage, due to which the water level has increased.
