Today when Farooqui’s friend Sadaqat who was arrested in this case was presented in the court, in the presence of the police in the court premises, a man beat Sadaqat as Munawar. The police was taking Sadaqat on a motorcycle. Just then a man came and started abusing and beating up Sadaqat. Actually, this person was considering the truth as a monk.
Let us tell you that the case of Munawar is related to the Munro Cafe in the 56 shop area of the city, where the Indian Guard Organization protested the stand up comedian’s program and sent the comedian Munawar Farooqui and the organizer to Tukoganj police station.

The Hind Raksha Sangathan alleges that Munawar Farooqui is a serial offender who has earlier made fun of Hindu deities in his show. At the same time, he has also commented about the kar sevaks killed in the Godhra carnage. In this case it has also dragged the name of Union Minister Amit Shah.

Gaur told that first we made a video of his program, then caught him and brought him to the police station. The Hind Raksha Sangathan has handed over the video of the program to the police and has demanded strict action against Farooqui.

Police are investigating the allegations of comments made to the deities. Police have said that strict action will be taken if found guilty in the investigation.
