India sent this help to Seychelles under Mission-Sagar, INS Gharial was used

Indian Ocean Mission Sagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Indian Ocean Region under the mission of Sagar,  has given three saluting-guns and one petrol-boat to Seychelles. This boat and saluting gun has arrived with the Indian Navy’s INS Gharial warship . Where the handing-over ceremony was organized on the warship itself.

According to the Indian Navy, these days the INS Gharial warship is on a visit to the countries of the South-West Indian Ocean region. In this episode, INS Gharial has reached Port Victoria in Seychelles. Gharial has been deployed in Seychelles under PM Modi’s mission-Sagar i.e. Security and Growth for All in the Region. Earlier, the gharial has also come to Sri Lanka, Male and Maldives by giving medical supplies and other essential items.

Seychelles government had sent a proposal to India
On arrival at Port Victoria, the High Commissioner of India, General Dalbir Singh Suhag (Retd) on the DAC of INS Gharial, handed over three saluting-guns to the Chief of Defense Forces of the Seychelles, Brigadier Michael Roussett, along with his munitions. For these guns, the Seychelles government had sent a proposal to India. The patrol boat was also handed over to the Seychelles Defense Forces (SDF).

India committed to enhance capability of Seychelles Defense Forces
According to the Navy, when INS Gharial was deployed at Port Victoria, SDF soldiers were also given sea-trials. Recently, Navy Chief, Admiral R Hari Kumar also visited Seychelles and now INS Gharial’s arrival at Port Victoria shows that India is fully committed to enhance the capability of Seychelles Defense Forces.
