Four youths recited Hanuman Chalisa at Idgah in Govardhan area of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. When the video of this Hanuman Chalisa text made on Tuesday morning went viral on social media, the police came into action and immediately the four youths were taken into custody. Later, the youths were challaned and sent to jail under streams of peace.
According to the information, the names of the youth studying Hanuman Chalisa in Eidgah are Saurabh Lambardar, Raghav Mittal, Kanha and Krishna Thakur. All these live in Govardhan area. Although no FIR has been given in this case so far, the police took the four into custody after the post went viral on social media. Later, the police challaned them in the stream of peace. The accused say that they went to recite Hanuman Chalisa in the mosque to increase brotherhood.
Senior Superintendent of Police Dr Gaurav Grover said that the Mathura district is known as a symbol of Hindu-Muslim harmony and hence no community members will be allowed to spoil the peace of Aman and strict against those who act. Legal action will be taken.
Earlier photos of two Muslim youths performing prayers in Nandababa temple complex in Nandgaon while doing namaz after completing BRAJ CHOURASI KOSH YATRA went viral on social media. After which two people were detained by the UP Police. Those detainees are identified as Faizal Khan and Chand Mohammed.
In the case, the temple’s pandit Goswami filed a complaint with the police alleging that at around 12:30 pm on October 29, Faizal Khan and Chand Mohammad, who are members of the Khudai Khidmatgar Society of Delhi, along with Alok Ratan and Nilesh Gupta of the same organization came. The FIR has alleged that Muslim youths offered namaz in the temple courtyard without obtaining any further permission and made their photographs by their companions go viral on social media.
