In fact, the government of Dubai and the Jammu and Kashmir administration have signed an agreement (MoU) on infrastructure on Monday.
Basit, who was Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India, said, “The signing of the MoU is a big success for India, as Dubai belongs to the UAE and the UAE is an Islamic country.” Diplomats say that Pakistan has always tried to mobilize support against India using Islamic connections among members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). It is known that Abdul Basit was Pakistan’s High Commissioner in New Delhi from 2014 to 2017.
This investment recognized as a union territory
In fact, in the past, the OIC member countries had not done anything that Pakistan felt that Muslim countries and OIC were standing with us on the Kashmir issue. UAE did not support Pakistan even after the abrogation of Article 370 in India. In such a situation, the settlement of Dubai in Kashmir is like recognizing it as a union territory.

Describing the agreement, the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry had issued a press release on Monday, stating that under this agreement, Dubai will invest in real estate in Jammu and Kashmir, India, including Industrial Park, IT Towers, Multipurpose Tower, Logistics. , Medical College, Super Specialty Hospital. It is to be known that this is the first investment agreement of a foreign government after the withdrawal of special status of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcation of it into two union territories.
