Delhi Police officials said on Monday that so far six people have been arrested in this case. Delhi Police says that 42,000 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride have been seized during the raids in Kashmere Gate area. In which an inter-state gang involved in drug smuggling has been busted.
42,000 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride seized at Kashmere Gate
Tramadol is classified as a narcotic substance under the NDPS Act and is used as a pain reliever. Police said that on the night of June 2, a police team checking vehicles at Kashmere Gate suspected a parked car. When asked why the car was parked, three people sitting in it tried to run away, but they were unsuccessful. A senior police officer said that 74 cans of Tramadol Hydrochloride were found in the car when it was searched.
