The ministry said that a total of 32,16,949 doses were given till 8 pm on the 84th day of the nationwide anti-Kovid-19 vaccination. According to the provisional report, 28,24,066 beneficiaries were given the first dose and 3,92,883 were given the second dose.
1.45 lakh new cases in the country
A record of 1,45,384 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in the country, after which the total number of people infected so far has increased to 1,32,05,926. According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry at eight o’clock on Saturday morning, the number of people under treatment again increased to more than 10 lakhs after about six and a half months.
The ministry said that 794 more people died due to corona virus, which is the highest number of days since October 18 last year. The total number of people killed so far has increased to 1,68,436 from this infection.
The daily number of infected people in the country has increased for the 31st consecutive day. At present, treatment of 10,46,631 infected people is underway, which is 7.93 percent of the total number of people infected so far, while the rate of recovery of people after getting infected has fallen further to 90.80 percent.
According to the data, so far 1,19,90,859 people in the country have recovered after being infected and in terms of cases the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.28 percent.
