CBSE Board Controller of Examinations Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj said in a conversation with News18 Hindi that the exams to be held from May 4 will be on schedule. For this, the board has made all preparations. After the positive response from parents and children, the board is trying its best to save the children this year, keeping an eye on every situation. He said that there are problems due to the disease in the country but the board is very sensitive about the children appearing in the examinations, rather spending crores of rupees to secure the examination safely at the time of Corona.
He told that CBSE has spent big money this time for the 10th and 12th board exams. Due to Corona, an additional amount of Rs 15 crore is being spent this time in the board examinations. This expenditure will be for complying with the Corona rules and especially for sanitization, in addition to 50 per cent of the schools raised in the form of exam centers. They say that this time 35 lakh children will take the exam all over the country. In such a situation, the board will spend 25 rupees per day for sanitization and corona rescue at the cost of five rupees per child.
Students have also demanded from PM Modi to cancel the examinations.
Along with this, five thousand rupees are being given by CBSE to every school or center so that it can buy sanitizer, soap, dustbin, etc. to protect against corona and can arrange for cleanliness. Along with increasing the number of examination centers, a large number of superintendents and deputy superintendents have been kept. So that during this period of corona, examinations can be done carefully.
