International Flights Suspension: The suspension of commercial passenger services (commercial passenger services) has been extended till 28 February 2022 amid increasing cases of deadly Coronavirus in the country. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has clarified in the circular that the suspension of flights will not affect cargo and DGCA approved flights.
Earlier, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had decided to suspend international flight services till January 31. All international flights to and from India are closed since 23 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, since last July 2020, special international passenger flights are operating under the air bubble agreement with about 28 countries.
