40 children corona infected in Mumbai in a week, is the third wave a knock?

Mumbai Coronavirus Update: In Mumbai, more than 40 children have become corona positive within a week. First 22 girls from St Joseph’s Orphanage Ashram in Byculla were infected and then 18 children came positive at Chembur Children’s Home on Sunday. In such a situation, the question is arising that how is the preparation of Mumbai Municipal Corporation amidst increasing cases of corona?

At Chembur Children’s Home in Mankhurd, Mumbai, 18 children, aged between 10-18 years, were infected with corona. At the same time, a total of 102 children live in this home. The gate of the Children’s Home is closed. Little children are in the houses built inside this gate.

Bakul Parekh, a member of the Maharashtra Pediatric Task Force, says that the third wave has not yet arrived. He said that it is not a sign of infection in children. People are not following the rules and going everywhere without masks, which can spread the infection. The infection that is spreading among children, they are spreading it very much, because they are not alert now. Many people do not even believe in vaccination.

When asked about how much preparations have been done, Bakul Parekh said that the number of oxygen and ventilators has been increased in every hospital. At the same time, many school teachers, Anganwadi women have also been given special training to make people aware. Preparations have been made for the children in the hospitals of the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai and in the Kovid centers.

When BMC officials were asked about the preparations, they say that preparations have been made in every hospital and Kovid center.
